How long does the process take?
The closing process can happen in as little as a few days, depending on how quickly you provide the required documentation. After closing, the overall timeline depends on your project. If your property requires site work such as a septic system, electrical service, water, or other improvements, those factors will affect the timeline. Our team works diligently to keep your project moving and get you into your new home as quickly as possible.Workforce housing provides temporary or long-term living accommodations for employees working in remote oilfield or industrial job sites.
How much down payment do I need?
Your down payment depends on factors such as your credit score, income, and employment history. Because we work with 12 different lenders, we’re able to match you with financing programs designed for a wide range of situations. Your housing consultant will help you find the lender that offers the best terms for your needs. Depending on the loan program, down payments can range from 0% to 5%.
Can I use my own land?
Yes. If you already own land, you may have additional financing options available. In many cases, you can use your land’s equity toward your down payment and combine your land, home, and eligible site improvements into one loan.
If you don’t own land yet, we also offer land and home packages. Through our affiliated real estate company, we can help you find the right property and finance the entire package, making the path to homeownership even easier.
Do I need perfect credit?
No. While your credit score is an important factor, you do not need perfect credit to qualify. We work with multiple lenders that offer financing solutions for a variety of credit situations. Our housing consultants will guide you through the process and help you find the financing option that best fits your needs.
Can I include land improvements?
Yes. We work with an affiliated construction company that specializes in land development projects throughout Texas. Eligible improvements such as land clearing, septic systems, utilities, driveways, water wells, permits, and decks can often be included in your financing, allowing you to combine everything into one convenient monthly payment.
